Cycling & Walking Trails

Here at Moyvalley we have a 6.2km tarmacadam track throughout our 500-acre resort, with both a 4.2km trail for those who love to cycle or a 2km trail ideal for those who would prefer to take a stroll through the peaceful countryside. Each taking in the breath taking views the grounds and our 18-hole championship golf course.

Fun for all the Family!

Here at Moyvalley we have a Playground on site to keep the kids entertained as well as a picnic area for those beautiful & sunny days, but as we all know it’s not always sunshine in Ireland so for lots of information and ideas on family activities nearby just click here.

Greenway 

The Royal Canal Greenway which is under development will link the city center element to the suburbs is an excellent advance in the quality of the cycling provision which is being facilitated by Waterways Ireland. Waterways Ireland has supported the development of multi-purpose greenways on the Canal towpath to broaden the type of use and the suitability of the surface of the towpath for a wide range of use www.irishtrails.ie/maps The canal and its towpath is 145 km long, and runs from the River Liffey in Dublin to Cloondara on the Shannon, with an 8 km branch line into the town of Longford. Along the length of the canal there are 46 sets of locks (including the sea lock in Dublin).
